The G.L.Mellin Tournament is a Public Schools six-a-side golf competition contested annually between the second sixteen schools from the Halford Hewitt.
Founded in 1960 by T.R.Parry and aptly named after G.L. (Susie) Mellin, the founder of the Halford Hewitt.
Played every year in late June or early July at the wonderful, heathland course that is West Hill Golf Club in Surrey.
Aldenham, Bedford, Bradfield, Cheltenham, Cranleigh, Downside, Felsted, Forest, Haileybury, Hurstpierpoint, Lancing, Loretto, Mill Hill, Oundle, Sherborne, and Shrewsbury.
